Reproduction card of the original acrylic painting “Quilted Hare.”
Printed in collaboration with a local printmaker to ensure excellent colour fidelity and image quality.
Measures 12.5 cm x 17.5 cm — each card includes a crisp white envelope
The Quilted Hare was inspired by spring, and all things new. A bright pink background, and seven segments, each piece carries an individual story.
In the ear, a Unalome, a Buddhist symbol that represents the winding path of life, and the unpredictable path to enlightenment.
On the back, a butterfly, a house and the Mi’kmaq hieroglyph for “alone”. Spring is a time for renewal and release. After a long winter, and time alone, leaving home and chasing the butterflies in spring will lead to you where the universe needs you
The rest can be up to you.
NEW DROP — QUILTED CARDS
Reproduction card of the original acrylic painting “Quilted Crab.”
Printed in collaboration with a local printmaker to ensure excellent colour fidelity and image quality.
Measures 13.25cm x 13.25cm — each card includes a crisp white envelope
The Quilted Crab was inspired by time in the boat, and home on the water.
In the legs, a dismantled petroglyph of people, and line work which seems like seaweed wrapped in the legs.
In the left claw, an odd fish out. In the right claw, he is reaching for the stars.
The rest can be up to you.
Reproduction card of the original acrylic painting “Quilted Turtle” or “Carry the world, Carry the People”
Printed in collaboration with a local printmaker to ensure excellent colour fidelity and image quality.
Measures 13.25cm x 13.25cm — each card includes a crisp white envelope
The Quilted Turtle was inspired by summer, and all things good. A bright teal background, and eight segments
In the head, a petroglyph depicting fishermen, as always in summer I have kayaking on my mind.
On the shell, petroglyphs of people, I imagine dancing on a golden yellow background. A sunset, even. The hieroglyphs along the top of the shell “You cared for me, it is possible to continue”
In the fin, an odd fish out.
The rest can be up to you.
